The game was played at Washington and Lee, the site of the Division III “Final Four,” and followed the two national semifinal games, won by The College of New Jersey and Bowdoin. TCNJ went on to win the national championship on Sunday.

Lenker and Thies were both All-Centennial Conference selections and captains for the Mules, who finished with a record of 12-6 for their most wins in seven years. Lenker was third in the CC in goals-against average, while Thies led Muhlenberg in scoring for the fourth year in a row.

“It was a truly amazing experience,” said Thies of playing in the All-Star Game. “I had such a good time and really appreciated the opportunity to play in such a high level game. It was also fun playing with Sierra and being coached by Coach Eddinger one last time! I am so thankful to have represented Muhlenberg and so happy to have worn my jersey one last time.”
