• Gallagher Breaks Steeple Record Again: Several members of the Muhlenberg track team competed at Villanova’s Tuppeny Twilight Invitational, the final scheduled meet before the NCAA Championships.

Senior Brendan Gallagher finished 10th in the steeplechase in a hand-timed 9:55.2, breaking the school record for the third straight week.

Senior Will Elson ran an NCAA-provisional 1:53.03 in the 800, placing seventh, but he had a better time (1:52.17) earlier this season. Elson (800 and 1,500) and sophomore John Brodowski (decathlon) are the two Mules who have qualified provisionally for the NCAA meet. They will find out if they have been selected next Monday.
