Johns Hopkins went 2-2 at the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional, defeating Alvernia and Rowan but falling to DeSales twice. DeSales won the regional to advance to the Division III World Series in Appleton, Wis.

Elson, Brodowski to Compete in NCAA Track

Senior Will Elson and sophomore John Brodowski have qualified to compete in the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships this weekend at St. Lawrence University in Canton, N.Y.

Elson, who also competed in the NCAAs for cross country and indoor track (earning two All-America honors) this year, is scheduled to compete in the 800 meters and 1,500 meters, while Brodowski will represent the Mules in the decathlon. The three-day meet begins on Thursday.
