For the second time this week, Dickinson prevented the Muhlenberg baseball team from picking up its first Centennial Conference win. The Red Devils defeated the Mules, 16-4, three days after the teams tied in their CC opener.

Freshman Pete Oris hit a sacrifice fly to give the Mules (5-5-1) a 1-0 lead in the top of the first, but Dickinson (4-8-1) scored nine runs in the first two innings. The Mules never got close after that.

Five of the Mules’ eight hits went for extra bases. Oris was 2-for-3 with two doubles, the first two extra-base hits of his career. Sophomore Matt Tobia was 3-for-4 with a double, a triple and an RBI single.
